The Group of Studies and Research in Mathematics Didactics - GEPeDiMa has as its main objective to investigate didactic phenomena, as well as theoretical and cognitive issues, whose core is mathematical knowledge, which have implications for the classroom. The methodological theoretical framework of the research may involve several theories such as the Conceptual Fields, the Anthropological Theory of Didactics, Didactic Situations, Semiotic Representation Records, Didactic Engineering, among others. GEPeDiMa's research focuses on the school context at the various levels (from early childhood education to higher education) and teaching modalities, as well as inclusive education.
